Couscous

Couscous is handy to have in the pantry – it’s so quick and easy to prepare, and makes a great side dish. To make it light and fluffy, follow these steps.

Step 1: Place couscous in a heatproof bowl. Add a little oil or melted butter to make it easier to separate the grains. Cover with boiling stock.

Step 2: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and set aside to stand for 5 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed.

Step 3: Remove and discard the plastic wrap. Use a fork to separate the grains and make the couscous light and fluffy.
